Breanna is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wyoming. Her lab, Phonological Understanding Lab, includes graduate and undergraduate researchers. Her research interests include the treatment and assessment of speech sound disorders, and the intersections between speech sound knowledge, speech perception and word recognition. Her goal is to answer translational questions related to treatment effectiveness and efficiency, and to better understand speech sound knowledge through investigation of children’s response to variability in the phonology of their native language
